EMERGENCY PLAN


Emergency:
It is defined as an unexpected or sudden event which results in dental treatments covered by this service, in order to deal with situations caused by the following causes: Pain, swelling or hemorrhage.

imagen121321Oral Medicine: Emergency clinical exam (diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan for the emergency event).

Periodontics: Simple Routine Scaling (easy cleaning).

Restorative and Operative: Amalgams in posterior teeth, photocured resins in anterior teeth and glass Ionomeric on the necks of the teeth.

Endodontic: Root canal Treatment, single-rooted, double-rooted and multi-rooted, biopulpectomia partial and complete pulpotomy and pulpectomy.

Surgery: Exodontias or simple extractions in permanent teeth, and exodontias or simple extractions in temporary teeth.

Radiography: Rx Coronal or periapical required to perform the treatments covered in the plan, performed in the doctor’s office with the treating dentist.

Emergency : Initial treatment and medication in cases of:

  • Endodontic Emergency: Caries removal, Direct pulp capping, tooth fractures, abscesses, reversible and irreversible pulpitis.
  • Periodontics Emergency: Located radicular curettage, eliminating premature contact, medication in case of muscle pain and abscesses.
  • Prosthetic Emergency: Temporary cementation of crowns and fixed bridges, repair of partial or full dentures made in the doctor´s office (of the acrylic part), medication in the case of Denture Stomatitis.

When the urgency is the result of trauma or accident, it will aim to solve the emergency situation with the treatments described above, excluding the subsequent treatments required because of the accident or trauma.

This Plan provides coverage to 100% full emergency and ambulatory care with copayments defin.
